I agree with you. No Institutes give you a complete knowledge of the subjects. Its you who can help urself. Do lots of practice of Maths as well as other subjects and do thoroughly the previous question papers so that you can get an idea of which type of questions come in the paper.
Take information and get help from ur subject teachers.

look i jus gav jee10.wat i have seen and realised is pick ur insti as pper ur study style and understanding capabilities.personally i feel no isti is good if u think u can do it urself with some onl help frm any insti as u can urself dedicate tym and study urself i am includin onl help to knw the method and boundary of jee preparation ......if u think this is not ur kinda of study style then pick any insti and i cant help u abt that as i doono abt instis in mumbai!any way all the best! step wisely!

According to me teachers guidence is also important .Yes the student has to work hard but it is rightly said experience matters.My thinking is that listen to the best guidence and be the king of that topic.
